Homer & Cristina and Dan & Pier and other local instructors are taking turns in instructing the tango "Foundation" and "Progressive" classes.
In the weekly Foundation class, novice dancers and more experienced beginners (who'd like to refresh or strengthen their basics) are welcome to attend.
The focus is on fundamental technique (connection, musicality, & structure) for open and sometimes close embrace tango.
A partner is not required for these classes and you do not need to pre-register, just drop-in & learn.
In the weekly Progressive class, we will focus on a topic such as turns or musicality for several weeks or more...

This class is suitable for beginners with a few months of experience and for more experienced dancers who are trying to develop solid intermediate skills...
It is a great prelude to taking the more challenging "Intermediate Concepts" classes at Monday's Orange Practica!
A partner is not required but recommended.
You do not need to pre-register, however, taking each series from the start is important (the teachers will briefly review previous ideas before moving on).

The "X-Session"
Join us at 10:30pm for a tango exploration & exchange "X-Session", which is open to all dancers - come watch and/or participate!
The "X-Session" is not a class but is a semi-guided exploration of different tango ideas.
It is conducted during the normal practica time and plenty of room will be made for those who wish to just dance/practice and not participate.
Note: With prior approval from Homer (send him an email or just show up and ask), more advanced dancers are welcome to come for free to the Next Practica and X-Session if they participate in the classes "as taxi dancers" first.
Times/Cost:
8:00pm to 9:00pm, Foundation Class $10
9:00pm to 10:00pm, Progressive Class $10
Take Both for only $15
(class payment includes entrance to practica)
X-Session: Starts at 10:30pm (lasts about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes depending on topic and interest!)
Practica: Starts at 9:00pm and goes till around midnight...($5 for just practice, includes x-session)
